PROJECT BRIEF |
The word “clock” is synonymous with the iconic image of a simple circle with two hands and multiple tick marks. The circular interface of a clock is so good at its job, there has been basically no need to modify the design since the days of the sun dial. But, even though the interface of a clock is essentially perfect, revisiting a problem with a well established solution may lead to intriguing and fun insights. The River Stone Clock is a personal creative exercise which ask that very simple question: how else can we do something as simple as telling time?
