INSPIRATION AND STRATEGY |
In order to inform the design language of the body kit, classic Mopar vehicles as well as Ram’s current design language were studied in detail. These two items acted as a base for the body kit's overall visual composition, later sprinkling in details inspired by Black Widow’s edginess to create a new design language that was fresh for Black Widow, yet familiar to Ram and Dodge performance enthusiasts.

KEY RESEARCH
|
OEM Dodge / Ram - Oval in nature, rectilinear shapes have some level of minute curvature, extreme or hyper-dynamic lines / surface transitions not often seen.
MOPAR and classic Dodge performance - Large, slabby surfaces, simple graphics with bold, contrasting colors. Historically known for power-specific upgrades, has more of a drag-strip performance legacy than road racing legacy. Black Widow - Sharp, flashy, aggressive in branding details. Additional components to vehicles often reference hexagonal shapes and hard angles. Surface transitions in details generally extreme. |
